Democracy Classroom is the home of the Democratic Education Framework
The UK’s first Democratic Education Framework is designed to help you strengthen young people’s engagement with democracy. Developed in collaboration with the Electoral Commission, it gives a shared, evidence-based structure across schools, colleges and youth spaces, showing what works to build learners’ knowledge, confidence and skills. Our site will help you assess your democratic education practice across six key areas, and match you to resources, case studies, delivery pathways and more to improve your provision.
