About us

Democracy Classroom is a collaboration between non-partisan democracy, education and youth organisations to support young people to engage in elections.

What we do

Democracy Classroom is a collaboration between non-partisan democracy, education and youth organisations to support young people to engage in elections. We have been working together since the 2017 General Election to pool our resources, training and support to ensure practitioners have everything they need to help young people to cast a meaningful vote. We support local, regional, devolved and national elections across the UK.

This online hub is designed to make it easier for teachers, youth workers and practitioners to navigate all of our collective support. We aim to provide clear, non-partisan information and we check all of our content for political bias and quality before it is added to the site.

Who we are

The Democracy Classroom Partnership is made up of a range of organisations that span the youth, education and democracy sectors, from small non-profits to national organisations. We now include over 100 partners and are always looking to include new voices.

If you would like to get involved in our partnership meetings and events or have materials you would like to share on this site then please contact: info@thepoliticsproject.org.uk.
