Senedd Education Team

The Welsh Parliament is the democratically elected body that represents the interests of Wales and its people.
Commonly known as the Senedd, it makes laws for Wales, agrees Welsh taxes and holds the Welsh Government to account.

The Welsh Youth Parliament (WYP) includes 60 elected young people representing constituencies and partner organisations from across Wales. The WYP has been established with the ideas and aspirations of young people in Wales central to its development. It is a unique opportunity for young people to get involved in leading the discussion on issues which matter to them and have their voices heard in the Senedd Chamber.

More details about WYP members, current consultations and copies of their previous reports can be found on our website
