Welcome to Your Vote | Lessons

This six-week scheme of work explores different elements of democracy and politics, including how to register to vote and to what to expect on polling day. Young people will have the chance to design and implement their own voter registration campaign. 

You can use the full six-week programme or choose the lessons which suit your group.

Resources are tailored to all four nations of the United Kingdom, and are available in both English and Welsh for Wales.  They can also be adapted to use in youth settings.

Your Vote (Lesson 1)

An introduction to politics, democracy and voting. Students learn about how politics affects their lives and who represents them.
