Media and Information Literacy Secondary Framework
The First News Media Information Literacy (MIL) Secondary Framework has been developed in partnership with Media and Information Literacy Alliance (MILA). This framework has been created to support young people, aged 11 to 14, in achieving five key outcomes or 'domains', these are: be informed, empowered, healthy, socially conscious, and connected.
The five domains have a list of I know/I can statements that summarise what it means for a young person to be media and information literate in each area.
