Exploring Elections

Organisation:
The Politics Project
The Politics Project

Exploring Elections supports young people aged 16+ to engage in the upcoming elections in 2024 by providing free in-person democratic engagement workshops and assemblies for schools, colleges and youth groups.

Want to use our assembly and workshop resources? Please see below to access the resources.

Exploring Elections is delivered in person by The Politics Project team and offers non-partisan guidance about what elections are for, how to register to vote and the practicalities of voting.  The resources used have been reviewed by the Greater London Authority and the Electoral Commission to ensure both accuracy and impartiality.

These sessions can be designed to meet the bespoke needs of your school, college or youth group, but will include: opportunities for students aged 16+ to register to vote, information about Voter ID and advice on how to vote in the upcoming elections. Workshops are one-hour sessions and assemblies run between 10 - 30 minutes.

Places are limited and will be available on a first-come-first-served basis.
